YOUR SEARCH IS OVER!!  RESTORED AND USED ONE TIME.  Forget Shasta, these Midas campers are solid as rock, and hard to come by.  Completely torn down and refurbished with new interior, with sealed and painted birch paneling, custom upholstery, Coleman 13500 BTU A/C, 100% new electrical wiring with circuit breaker box, running and marker lights, interior lights with dimmers, new toilet (Porta-Potty), new stove, new refrigerator with separate freezer, new window cranks, custom awning and more.  Original cabinetry hand finished with Java Gel Stain, with the exception of few cabinet doors that didn't finish up nice, and had to be fabricated, new thick foam cushions, Wilsonart Vintage Daisy's table and counter-top, 1/2" rigid foam insulation in walls, cork flooring (soft under foot, insulates well, and is quiet), new gas piping, new fresh water line, windows all sealed, roof sealed, and portable gray water tank included. Custom made end bunks fold to create shelves, and each have their own custom made ladder.  This thing is clean as whistle, and ready to camp!  30 Amp Power, additional heavy duty cord wired to an outlet for extra capacity.  NOTE: this camper is wired for 110V only; no DC power.  No leaks.  Entire camper shell is aluminum.  They simply don't make them like this anymore.  I put lot of extras in into the refurbishment with the focus on retaining its vintage qualities.  Camper pulls really easy and smooth. Tires look to have plenty of life left.  I'm embarrassed to say how much money spent to refurbish this camper, as know can't get it back out in selling it.  I'm hoping someone can take it and enjoy it.
Please note, the picture of the camper with the awning is slightly older picture taken before painted the camper its current colors of white, blue, and yellow.  Awning is custom made Sunbrella fabric, and very high quality.  It comes with the poles as well.
The camper has few dents and dings here and there.  It's 44 years old after all.  I didn't replace any outside panels.  It's in great shape, and is very comfy little camper.  A/C cools the camper down very quickly.  The camper is worth every penny of the asking price, and more.  This is no ratty, smelly, 'tired old travel travel trailer'.  This baby was restored with love and attention to detail; one of kind gem with premium upholstery, and quality components.  I do have the original cook-top/oven that came with the trailer that I'll throw in if you're interested.  It worked when bought the camper, but wanted new cook-top without the oven.
Sleeps comfortably, but can accommodate more if needed.  I'm offering the camper with reserve price that is more than $2,000 below my cost to acquire and restore this great little camper.  These are estimates of what it would cost anyone to restore similar camper to the same condition, but do not represent 100% of my costs; only the more significant costs:
Camper cost $1,500A/C $700Gray water tank $220Stove- $150Toilet- $220Upholstery $800Awning $400 (Marty's Awnings; custom made Sunbrella fabric)Counter-top/table-top $350Insulation $290Lumber, screws, sealant, paint, misc. $1,000+Electrical $350
The new 'retro' campers dealers are selling today don't have the charm or the quality that these old campers have.  You couldn't buy any camper off the lot with the quality fabrics, interior wood, hinges, flooring, etc. that this camper has for fraction of the cost.  Anyone who has ever undertaken restoration for their own use know's how much time and money it requires to do it right.
Buyer responsible for pickup.  Only Serious Bidders Please.  Feel free to email ANY questions regarding the camper.
I reserve the right to terminate listing early as camper is listed locally as well.  $500 deposit required within 24 hours; full payment within days.
Happy Bidding!!!
