Its with heavy heart have to advertise up my Fiat 900e Amigo up for sale. probably one of the most genuine original campers out there. Nicknamed 'Corrosive' due to its numberplate its ironic as its probably one of the most rust free campers out there and has never been welded!
Its was registered in 1980 and the first owner an optician drove it 27,000 miles before safely storing it in his garage in 1986 and then never driving it again. I was offered it for sale in 2018 and jumped at the chance. only saw few photos and made gamble based on them. The owner had passed away and it was left to his distant family to clear the house.  Once got it home went through it with fine tooth comb as wanted it to be perfect for my family. it started up and ran smoothly with just some fresh fuel and jump start. amazingly all the bulbs bar one are the orginals it still even wore its pirellis that were put on it in the factory. 
its since had the following
powder coated wheelsnew tubes and tyres all roundcarb rebuildfull top end strip, skimmed, new valves, recut seats new head gasket new wipersrecored radiator. new brake master cylindersbrake shoes relinednew brake linesnew pop top roof hydraulic strutsnew beltsnew bosch battery new fuel pumpnew coolantfull service, fresh oils, filters cleaned, sparkplugs. new diahragm pump for sink. extra single lap belt fitted in rear. (can carry two children in car seats.)
it now starts and runs like new. have left it sitting for month before and it starts first turn of the key. 
Its now tax and belive mot exempt as over 40 years old. Its passed its last two mots with no issues and currently still has the remainder of last year's mot. (Till October) 
its never been welded, is all original paint amd does not need any welding. the only rust worth mentioning is the bottom of the front doors and only on the part that is single skin at the bottom. 
Once all the work was completed my family took it on holidays to the isle of wight, then to France for our wedding. we then used it for the following two weeks for our honeymoon and did over 2000 miles around the south of france going as far as the spanish border. in all these trips we had ZERO mechanical issues and the camper happly trundled at 50mph for up to hours day. it will cruise at 60mph if on motorway but we were happy to see more of the countryside. It returned 35mpg. 
It now only has 33,000 miles on the clock.
Reason for sale is we are expecting our third child. the camper has been perfect for two children but for three its going to be little too snug so we will be putting the funds towards larger camper. If it wasnt for this we would be keeping it. 
Pricewise its difficult thing to value. Considering its rarity and overal condition plus looking at the values of other similar age campers feel £10,000 is realistic price.
