Its the Vito 116CDiSport Auto, so nice and quick but still very economical. Comes withfactory fitted front and rear parking sensors and air conditioningVan direct from Mercedes, Will be sold with brand new 12 months MOTas well as gas habitation safety certification for your peace ofmind. Conversionis brand new, finished to very high standard, with "pop-top"elevating roof which creates lovely big, airy space and lot ofheadroom. Roof tent has zipped side panels with "mosquito mesh"and front window panel, to give lots of light and niceventilation system. Roof has reinforced roof bed rails fitted – andis supplied with matching bed boards to allow you to sleep two in theroof and two "downstairs" The rear rock and roll bed hasbeen upholstered to match the front seats, and front passenger seatswivels to enhance and increase the living space. Front seats are thedouble armrest “comfort”. Rear seats are fitted with full seatbelts, and van meets and exceeds all recognised industry safetystandards.Theinterior has been designed and built around maximising storage space,and as can be seen from the photos, there is plenty including alarge pull out drawer beneath the bed, rear storage space beneath therear of the bed, and side and rear access to the wardrobe. There isalso large, two shelf cupboard next to the fridge, two smaller sideopening cupboards above the water locker and seat, large sideopening cupboard alongside the rear seat and set of four usefulcupboards adjacent to the electrical management system and plugs (oneof which has been designed around the ability to carry four winebottles!) and small cupboards over the cooker sink. All furnitureis produced from the highest quality Vohringer laminate – very hardwearing and durable, impervious to moisture or heat, and made usingonly sustainable products. Main cupboard unit and wardrobe arefinished in gorgeous, textured "driftwood" veneer, with very stylishgrey “putinella” worktop and table, all complimented by stylishgrey trim.Therear “rock and roll” seat converts to very comfortable foot ¾width double bed in couple of seconds, and is easy to lower, and tostow.Thevan is curtained throughout with heavyweight double lined curtains,including wrap around cab curtain to keep the light (and pryingeyes) out, and creates lovely cosy night time atmosphere as well asretaining heat more effectively than cheaper single lined ones.Thesink gas unit is SMEV, one of the best out there, finished instylish and easy to clean stainless steel, with two ring gas hob,sink with fully electric water pump, and ample 25 litre waterstorage, which is cleverly accessed using the second sliding door.Gas locker is also located through this access, and is fullycompliant with gas safety standards, with drop down vent and gasbottle retaining strap.Thefridge is way electric, Waeco (now Dometic) 50 litre fridge withfreeze box (which is removeable to increase the fridge capacity ifyou wish), very ample for camping and caravanning, and is veryefficient. It runs off the 12v system, so will run and cool down whenthe van is being driven, or when parked, and if the van is hooked upto 240v (there is an external 240v hook up point on the rear right ofthe van) will run from this system. There is also slimline flushfitting 150W solar panel on the rear of the pop top roof which willadequately run and charge all the van's electrics without hook up.There are two independent lighting systems row of LED spot lightsabove the bed rear seat, and soft LED strip lights above eachside door, which can be used independently or together to create thelighting of your choice. Van also has rear 12v “cigarettelighter” plug and two USB charging plugs for charging your mobilephone, laptop etc, as well as two household pin 240v socket whichcan be used when the van is “hooked up” to 240v. All theelectrics are controlled via slimline and very stylish Sargentmanagement system – all fuses and trip switches are easilyaccessible inside the wardrobe.Vanhas large, high quality 110Ah leisure battery, and through the powermanagement system can run all 12v lights and fridge.Vanis also fitted with an electronic safe, hidden behind magnetic,easy removable panel, conveniently situated under the front passengerseat, but secured through the floor of the vehicle, making removalimpossible.Asstated, the van is immaculate, and drives like new van, and the160bhp provides plenty of power. The Mercedes diesel engines are veryreliable the amount of Vitos on the market with well over 300,000miles bears testament to that and have the benefit of being chaindriven, rather than belt driven, which means there is no cambelt tosnap (VW owners beware, I've had two VW transporters in the past -both cambelts snapped two wrecked engines ....very, very costly!)Tyres are load rated van tyres in excellent condition, and wheels areoriginal load rated Mercedes spoke alloys (beware of vans withaftermarket alloys – they may not be load rated, and your insurancemay not be valid with them fitted!)Icant think of anything else, but if you have any questions, please donot hesitate to ask. have posted lots more photos on Facebook(search for Redfish Campers). They are made to very highprofessional standard, and well thought out to provide you with themaximum in comfort and storage space, the two key ingredients for asuccessful campervan. don't use cheap, battered and resprayed highmileage builders vans, as sadly so many people do. source lowmileage Mercedes main dealer vehicles with good service histories, in nearperfect condition. have owned and built camper vans for many years- started building this layout of camper vans because wasdismayed and frankly shocked at the poor standard, and lack ofusability in the design of so many "professional"conversions there are some really lousy ones out there!
