If you are looking for genuine 'value for money' Motorhome, then don't miss this one! We only bought this in April this year as was due to retire, and decided to follow our retirement plan and look for property abroad. Following two trips to Europe in the Hobby, and couple more by air, we found property that we liked much sooner than we anticipated, and are currently in the process of purchasing it, therefore the Hobby in which we have done just over 2,500 miles is up for quick sale and priced accordingly.
This German built Motorhome orignally supplied by Brownhills Motorhomes of Newark, has excellent service history, comes complete with all the various hand books, and in the short period of time we have owned it, on the basis we thought we would have it for at least couple of years, we had new clutch, rear main crank oil seal and new radiator fitted in addition to service/inspection. documented habitation inspection was carried out in February 2019, with no reported issues. This Motorhome is dual floor and fully winterized, with Truma combi blown air heating/water heating that is dual fuel this being Gas and 1800 watt Electricity. It has an excellent way fridge with separate freezer compartment, and unique toilet/shower  arrangement with clever sliding sink unit, that then creates the shower space. The 690 GES in standard form has single beds over huge garage, and this was modified to create super king size double bed which is much more comfortable, however have all the parts that were removed to restore the original rear cupboard and shelve units should any future purchaser wish to restore the original rear twin single bed configuration. The rear garage is enormous, and is also fitted with bike rack for bikes. Unusually for German Motorhome, the galley features an oven/grill as well as burner hob as can be seen in the photos. Additionally this Hobby has the benefit of the Gaslow LPG system with bottles and an automatic change over valve, which makes the running of the LPG systems much cheaper than using the normal exchange gas bottles, and also enables European refilling, which is real bonus if you are away for any length of time!
