It's time to...Get off-grid and relax, somewhere far away from all the madness with this Fiat Ducato Campervan. It has everything you need to hit the road today and not come back for while (or if you have work, then it's also brilliant for weekend escape for an adventurous couple or small family). All pictures were taken yesterday and today: December 1st, so what you see is what you get. Hello! Quick Video Available! if you don't want to read to the end of the advert (reading is advised though). Copy and paste this link: https://youtu.be/PJz4FQx9kpQ Space/Beds/Seating Storage It sleeps 3-4 people and consists of double bed for two adults (approx 5ft 11in long 4ft wide), long single bench bed which is 6ft 6in long and also hideaway den bed for child under the main double, which comfortably sleeps 1-2 average 10-year-olds. The bench has lots of storage underneath, the hideaway area can also be used as storage and has its own shelves; there's also storage lockers above the bench, floating shelves beside the kitchen, plus space above the cab and inside the actual kitchen unit. Off-Grid Capabilities/Power There's huge 260w Solar Panel on the roof, and split charge relay both charging up the Exide 140 a/h semi-traction leisure battery (designed for wild/solar camping). The 1000w remotely controlled Inverter converts this 12v energy into 230v (meaning you can plug things in just like in your house, but no hair dryers or heaters please!). There's 12v lighting, 70-litre water tank, 3-way fridge, although currently not connected on gas), 12v speaker/radio/usb sound system, 2-ring gas hob and running water and sink combo. We watched Netflix movies via 40" Smart TV powered by the battery overlooking Gwithian Beach last night (30 November). It was 1-degrees above freezing outside, but we didn't even notice! Insulation and Build The camper is very well insulated with 4inches of warmth in the walls and ceiling. variation of rockwool, covered with 2mm plyboard, covered with 8mm thermal insulation foil, then small air-gap before being finished with spruce cladding. The floor has Celotex/10mm ply and laminate flooring barrier. The only wall that doesn't have insulation is the one between cab and rear section. The design is modern, cosy and well considered with an optimum mix of practicality and aesthetics. There's lots of places to hang and store things, relax, cook, enjoy time out or with others. Other Goodies Pretty much everything you see in the photos minus the children, dog and 40" TV comes with the campervan. There is removable bamboo table, small grey table which double up as seat and sits on the hearth. Yes the hearth with tiled wall and solid stone floor! built hearth and fitted register plate in the roof in case the new owner chooses to fit log burner. If not then this space could also host an extra travel seat with seat-belt, which will gladly include for fitment if the buyer wishes, or another bench seat could be built (I will do this for you to match the other one if price meets my reserve) or just leave as it is as it's usual for space/place to put dirty shoes or dog. There are three windows in the rear and all of them open, there is an awning attached and side/tent components are inside the van, but have not opened this since buying the van, but assume all is well. There's another radio/CD/USB capable radio in the cab too. Therometer, carbon monoxide alarm, chopping boards, knives, blankets, clock, cutlery, plates, tea-towels, dish drainer etc. The Base Van The Story of it's creation and the Reason for Sale Low 117,000 miles. Electric windows and mirrors.2.8Litre JTD Fiat Engine lots of power and very economical. You'll get 40mpg on big run.Previous owner was mechanic and assured me the cambelt has been changed within the last years/5000 miles. He's says there's date marker under the bonnet, which haven't looked for yet as keep forgetting. It has also had reconditioned gearbox and clutch change within the last years. She runs well and am currently using it daily. Comes with nearly new MOT (28th October 2020). Please check and see it's clean history at: https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/?_ga=2.52751392.902388514.1575216862-1114971604.1575216862 I bought as TLC project end of September and have had the two side sills changed/repaired and painted in my ownership and some other little paintwork bits. then used the base van to build the interior initially for my own family to enjoy throughout the year. We slept out in it last night and it was 1-degree above freezing outside, but 12-degrees inside (21-degrees when we were cooking). Regretfully am being forced to sell due to us finding lovely house to move into with workshop for me, and so need the money from this sale to use for large deposit. That's good news for somebody else though! Defect-wise, there's not much to mention other than the paintwork having the usual wear-and-tear you'd expect for year, but there's NO rust. Driver's seat and steering wheel bit worn. The side door key barrel is looking bit worn too, but have replacement which I'll include. also have very little history due to the previous owner being mechanic so everything was done by himself so would suggest an oil/fluid change/service for peace of mind, but it runs like dream and oil/coolant levels are spot on with no leaks. Condition of Sale The camper is currently being used daily by myself and located around Truro. I'll be around the Cornwall area until Thursday for viewings, but then have planned 800-mile camper expedition until Sunday in the Peak District unless of course this sells before then in which case the trip will be cancelled. A £1500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of auction ending for me to end auction on acceptable offer. The price will end the auction early on exceeds £10k just so those who are wondering have an idea. Please no messers it's good honest sale. won't accept bids from anybody with feedback lower than 10. Genuine Enquiries and Interest Only. Any questions, get in touch. And welcome an AA/RAC inspection. won't reveal what the reserve price is so you'll have to bid and find out. reserve the right to end this auction at any moment due to it being listed elsewhere.
