Hi there, with sad heart am putting my 508 up for sale.I bought this vehicle to convert into live in truck. The idea was to have removable body for events or for work purposes.. So the ally Luton horse box body is at present sepetate from the vehicle. We have put flat bed on the truck to use fir loading and towing.. wa going to paint it up showman stylie and take it to events with our other set ups. So mid project had another child and life turned upside down and need bigger vehicle that can carry more kids.. I have replaced the alternator on it and it drives round the yard fine.. Nice and strong.. ton towing vehicle was my dream.. Anyhow. It has had all the welding done on it.. And there is only teeny spot of rust on the cab.. It needs paint and some love. At present it needs the wheel arches out back on and the flat bdd raising to drive out.. believe there is an odd sized wheel on it too.. The fuel tank is in great condition and painted. Its shame to sell half way through but need the cash for bigger lorry. Its cheap to insure and have never taxed it so don't know about that. We will put the body on the truck for collection.. Unless its not wanted.. The truck is in Stroud Gloucestershire and has been dry stored for the last yrs.. Since had it. have been using the body as storage.. The box has simple ply wood doors on the back.. Tempory after the box ramp was removed. And the two top corners of the large Luton (which could be double bed room space) ha been damaged by the previous owner.. have cut steel sink up to replace these.Any questions  will try my best to answer. Cash on collection. Buyer to arrange collection. This truck is beautiful classic merc.. It could be really funky multi purpose vehicle.. Or whatever want.. Potential.. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
