No reserve. For sale our 1985 California import US spec VW Vanagon GL line in full original condition. OG paint and unmolested interior, everything works as it should, from the wardrobe locks to the twin swivel seats, double hob, way fridge and full blown heating. Solar panel and USB points. Brand new Whitewall tyres x4 recently added last week. Just arrived back from touring holiday and covered over 300 miles, full NEW engine installed and has only done about 5000 miles, receipt to show along with all paperwork- engine and gear box in perfect condition really strong and reliable. Runs on LPG (45 litre tank this was installed by previous owner all new, looking at about 58p per litre so really cheap driving!    or Petrol, just flick switch over! We added full service with oil change, new alternator and new starter motor. Leisure battery in great condition charges fridge along with 12v/240v inverter and domestic double 3pin plug sockets. Electric hook up all works beautifully as it should. Original owners handbook.
The quality of the interior is excellent, no tears in fabric just in good used original condition. Original roof canvas and roof mattress still has original mouldings and fixtures showing little wear over the years. X2 Westfalia drinks holders in the front and perfect 3/4 width rock and roll bed.Invoice for engine shown, got lots more.
This is an honest sale, the camper has original paperwork including US receipts, stacks of it, also has the US owners copy of divorce papers in the glove box£! Nice and clean underneath with no sign of welding just dust from the California desert. We had planned on keeping the bus but recent changes in work circumstances forces sale. Bodywork in good condition with no rust some age related marks and few areas the previous owner has touched up, as it has its original paint it has lovely patina, could go for respray as some areas have lost its showroom gloss as Cali sun has faded some areas, If 100% paint/bodywork is what you need then this is not your van. We have brand new JK Drive-away awning used once last week, it’s retro style orange also going for sale, reasonable offers accepted.
