Here we have an absolutely stunning VW T2 bay window camper.  I am selling on behalf of friend, who due to unfortunate life circumstances, has come to thevery difficult and reluctant decision to have to let her go, life can be real bummer sometimes. The camper is an reg, which when bought was freshly imported from Australia, (right handdrive and lived in nice hot/dry climate). There was no rust on underside or around rear andsides, has never been welded and is like new. The only downside however is the front panelhad been dented and not repaired, which, in turn had corroded. A full restoration was carried out so that the vehicle would be reliable to drive anywhere inEurope,   which is was what the owner intended when he retired last year.   Unfortunately ill healthhas prevented this from happening.  The restoration was only completed in 2014,  and has only covered meager 7000 miles since . 
THE RESTORATION. Body:- Renewal of front inner and outer front panels,  renewal of lower front panel and deformationpanel, renewal of front inner and outer steps, renewal of 1x front door and 1x front door skin,Replacement of side door lower skin.Completely resprayed inside and out in resplendent polar white by award winning body shop.New bumpers and headlight rims painted in gloss black, Reassembled, renewing all body seals and window rubbers. Renewal of window trims, window regulators and door mirrors. Renewal of wiper motor. New front and rear lamps. 
Interior (cab):- Dash panel sprayed satin black. Extra aux plugs added. New cab rubber flooring with underlay. New door cards. Quality stereo. Under dash shelf. Wood rim steering wheel. Mazda MX5 high back seats on adjustable runners. New seat belts. Electric washer pump. Electric windscreen demist blowers. Felt/lining carpet to roof. Table leg clipped to left between seats. 
Interior (rear):- Insulated sides floor and roof. New side trim panels. Van trim carpet to sides and ceiling. Abundance of low energy LED lighting. Split charging unit and battery. Curtains and tie backs. Rock roll bed with new memory foam and upholstered covers. New rear seat belts. Laminate flooring to rear floor and load deck. Table socket for leg and matching table top, stows out of way when not required. Basic, neat and uncluttered worktop with basket draws to underside. Wired coolbox within its own bracket, allowing easy removal for those sunny days at the beach!! Stand alone unit comprising of sink, pump, waste and fresh water containers hob and gascylinder.            This can be used in van (floor vented under) or easily lifted out to give more spaceand alfresco dining on those warm summer evenings. A really well thought out interior which is practical, easy to clean and provides lots of storage. 
Steering and suspension:- 
All joints replaced. All bushes replaced. All shock absorbers replaced. Steering damper replaced. All wheel bearings replaced. 
Brakes:- 
All brake hoses replaced. Rear brake shoes replaced. Rear wheel cylinders replaced. Front brake discs and pads replaced. Front brake calipers replaced. 
Running gear:- 
Originally fitted with 2000cc, air cooled injection motor coupled to auto box, this setup is knownto be both troublesome and gives poor economy,      so was replaced with new 1600 cc UK specVeglia engine, new clutch coupled to manual gearbox that was checked and had all sealsrenewed. The engine was fitted with new upgraded distributor without vacuum and electronic ignition. Sports air filter. Upgraded carb unit. New alternator. New battery. New starter motor. New driveshafts. New control cables. New exhaust. New heat exchangers.
