For sale our VW T2 1978 Westfalia Camper Van.  NO RESERVE.
We aquired this camper in 2004.  The engine has had rebuild and we spent quite bit of time and money updating the inside, as well as undertaking some superficial work to the exterior (we can provide the new owner with lots of receipts paperwork for  bits and bobs we bought for it and have had done).
We have taken the van on successful adventure around Europe, however since 2007, the van has been parked under shelter, and had minimal/No use.  Sadly the bodywork reflects this with rust patches in several areas, some quite significant, as per pictures.
The chassis looks to be in far better condition than the bodywork, but would strongly recommend any serious bidders to come and view the van prior to bidding to get good gauge on the all around condition.
The Rock and roll bed, pop top, and 'upstairs' bed all function well and the soft furnishings (matresses and curtains) also have plenty of life left in them.
It would make great project van, for someone who has the time to spend on it, which unfortunately we don't with our expanding family, hence the reason for sale.
The engine has been running occasionally during the time it has been parked up. We are currently waiting on local mechanic to see if he can get it firing up again in the next couple of days (I will update listing with information about how it is running once he has been, hopefully by Wednesday).
As this van has not been on the road for some time, and has not no MOT, the purchaser would need to arrange suitable transport to get it back to their location.
Mileage on dash is 26712.9, with the assumption it has been around the clock once, from looking at previous MOT's.  Engine size 1584cc (according to log book).
Available for viewings from Wednesday 5th May onwards.
