All good things must come to an end and sadly it is time to part company with "Can-Can" (named by son as he couldn't say Campervan when we first got it he was only 3).
I've had this van for years and it had never let me down.  Its 1985 watercooled 1.9 dg petrol engine VW T25 Campervan.  Its covered 94,601 miles as of today (08/09/2019) but will increase slightly as use once week.  The MOT is due this week so it will come with 12 months MOT on it for the buyer.  Tax is due in October so will put months on it as well.
This van will happily sit at 70mph (and bit more) on the motor way.  I've just had the brake fluid changed and it had full new exhaust system few months ago.  That was the biggest expenses I've had in my ownership.  I've had plenty of trips to Devon, Glastonbury, Norfolk and even took it to Ireland at the start of August.  Never missed beat.
The interior has the Autosleeper conversion.  shaped seating with storage underneath, fridge (powered by gas when stationary, works off the battery when driving), cooker and sink which look new (see photos).  There are couple of cupboards (also see photos) and it comes equipped with cups, plates, pots and pans and cutlery.  There is also wardrobe in the back.  had new curtains custom made and fitted few years ago which have magnets sown into the bottom of them so they stick to the window frame when they are drawn.  They also have tie backs so they are tidied and out of the way when they aren't being used.  Has leisure battery installed and internal lights.  It has pop top roof that can sleep two and the seats folder down in the back to make double bed.
I installed new CD player couple of years ago and upgraded the speakers in the door and put some tweeters in so you can actually here the music!  In general the interior is pretty good.
The exterior could do with some work.  Remember this van is 35 years old.  It has some surface rust.  The underneath is still solid but there are couple of spots on the panels that need attention soon.  The drivers step has hole in it (fairly standard issue you can buy replacement from just kampers and then it will just need cutting out and welding in).  Also near the drivers door, there is gutter that takes the rain from the roof, down the side of the front windscreen and then it is meant to run off poor design really it has caused some bubbling in the paint work.  In general would say it would be benefit with full respray.  Fully done think the van would be worth 8k+.
Anyway, think have covered most of the good and bad points in the above.  If you have any questions please drop me line.  Come for test drive, inspections welcome.
