VW T5 Transporter camper van. Thick Rock Roll bed, 12v and 240v plug in for electric hookup. Fridge, sink and gas hob, which have never been used, other than to test the water pump, so all new. cupboards under the sink and cooker as well as wardrobe. There is also storage under the bench passenger seat, so it seats 5, all with seatbelts. The passenger seat also turns around to face the van and there is removable table. 54,500 miles, although this may go up slightly as it is in use. Full service history, new cam belt recently and replaced the water pump as precaution at the same time, always good idea. Five spoke alloy 20" wheels with low profile tires with good tread. MOT due in June, but it always flies through with no problems. Leisure battery and dual charging system. LED mood lighting in the roof, with different colors from the remote control. Drives perfectly and has been chipped, so is very nippy. Rolling road reports to show the power and torque output of 145 BHP, but it has been treated well and usually plod along at 60-70 mph, where get almost 600 miles to tank full. Roof bars and running boards, which is part of the normal T5 uniform. Pneumatic, drive-away awning, so no poles, just pump it up, with groundsheet and carpet. It has an option of two sleeping compartments, which we have never used. Registered as motor caravan. Tinted windows with fitted curtains in the van part. Tow bar fitted. Now the bad bits. It was written off as category (uneconomical repair) when it was nearly new and repaired and converted by the previous owner, for his own use, then his plans changed, so he sold it to me. When it came to the first MOT couple of years later, it failed on the airbags and the wiring for the seatbelt sensors etc. I had it all repaired at VW main dealer, with new airbags, seatbelts and rewired. All costing £4,400 (I lost the receipt, but it will be on record at the VW dealer). So it is all good now and has had no problems at all and it still drives like new. The paint on the rear bumper has some bubbling of about 1-2mm on one side as well as some surface cracking, but you have to look quite close to see it. The door trim in the cab could do with reattaching in places if you were inclined to do so. there is half inch tear in the back of the passenger seat, which could easily be stitched or covered. I have been completely honest with the description and if you want more pictures please let me know, but would recommend viewing it, as you will not be disappointed. I am also happy to take you out for spin if you wish. We have had lots of fun in this, but we now have way too many animals to go camping with. It is great practical family vehicle well as holiday camper. Ready to go. No PayPal, only cleared funds only before will release it. Please don't ask for my 'best price' as it is the reserve, which think is bargain and will remain secret until it is reached because am hoping for much more, truly believe it is worth it.
