Thank you for your interest in our RV.
Selling our beautiful 1991 36' Foretravel Grand Villa Diesel pusher.

We've owned and much enjoyed this RV for 1/2 years and it is in excellent shape. We have used it as full-time RV for the last 18 months (after we sold our home). We are now moving into our condo and would offer someone else turnkey RV ready to explore wherever your heart may pull you :-)

Everything in this RV is built to last. The original purchase price in 1991 was ~$300K range and only high-quality materials were used. Competitors were Prevost RVs from various manufacturers. The company ("Foretravel") is located in Texas and they still build top-of the-line RV's (now starting at $800K up to $2M); parts and service are available through them.

After lot of research, we selected this Foretravel Grand Villa RV for its quality construction and relative simplicity (unlike many of the new RV that are impossibly to work on and break all the time). It has the perfect size that gives you plenty of space yet make is easy to drive as it doesn't have wheel base that is extremely long; hence, it turns well even on tighter roads.

- Only110K miles on the powerful 3208 Caterpillar turbocharged diesel V8 with new fluids (barely broken in as far as this engine is concerned as it won't need rebuild until around 300K miles).
- Commercial-duty Allison automatic transmission with new fluids
- Air brakes recently serviced with new rotors, seals and fluids
- New tires all around, including top-of-the-line Michelin steering tires
- 7K Onan diesel generator
- ceiling AC's (with heat pumps)
- gas heaters with fully ducted vents
- newer high-quality Queen bed that is very comfortable
- pull-out sofa in the front for any guests that sleeps two comfortably
- Full private shower and toilet (with new gaskets) with large mirrors
- All cabinets are real Rosewood with quality hinges (unlike many new, "cheap" RV's)
- Corian countertops in kitchen and bathroom
- 4-burner Magic Chef gas stove with oven and separate overhead micro/convection oven
- Wood flooring throughout that's easy to maintain and keep clean
- Cedar lined closets to keep the bugs out
- Two separate tables (which my wife and used to work from); both come with storage below. One with folding top in case you want more space
- Lots of overhead storage for smaller items
- newer mid-century, matching chairs and stools
- New 150 gallon fresh water tank to provide lots of water when on the road for showers, dishes, etc.
- 90 gallon propane tank (fill it once every months and you are good to go!)
- 150 gallon diesel tank allows you to travel around 1200 1300 miles on one tank
- Single piece roof that is the best watertight solution available on any RV
- ZipDee awnings all around to keep it cool in the summer
- Towing hitch to bring your car or Jeep, trailer or bikes on carrier
- Inverter to plug in any 110V device when not hooked up to shore power
- Three "gigantic" new house batteries
- Big truck horn in case someone doesn't notice you (hard to imagine!)
- Spotlights all around for easy parking setup in any camping area
- Comes will all necessary power cables, water hoses and sewer lines
- Giant reach-through belly storage area to bring whatever toys, supplies, etc. you need while on the road
- Full service maintenance records since we've owned it
- All original manuals mechanical documentation in case you are looking for parts or need to fix anything; this is an "analog" RV where most items can be fixed with standard hand tools (vs. newer RV's that require many specialty tools, computers/software, electronic testers, etc.)

All appliances and heating, AC (other than dash which was never needed with working overhead A/C units), shower, plumbing, etc. works as it should. There are no leaks anywhere and there's nothing to fix. It rides on air-bags for smooth ride and easy to level at the camp site.

Of course, it's rather large and heavy vehicle, yet very easy to operate and drive. Also, having said all of the above, keep in mind that this is not brand-new RV. It has few nicks and scratches here and there and could use good buffing/waxing to make it really "shine" again. The leather armrests facing outward have some dry-cracking and the original couch fabric is worn but we've always used cover over it so it isn't even visible. Overall, and for its age, it is in excellent condition and mechanically tip-top and wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow.

Sold as-is. Located in the Palm Springs area. Ready for fly drive.

FYI: was always under the impression it is 1992 model (which is what the previous owner told us and never checked/doubted). However, the build date states 1991. updated the description accordingly.
