:“Over $30,000 was spent in the last three years for upgrades and maintenance. I am a retired electrical engineer, pilot, project manager and avionics technician and love this 34 foot small bus. Took it on a 2,000 mile trip this summer so it is ready to roll, any season, any time. It has never let us down during our USA travels with my wife and son. I am selling it to raise funds for my next project. It has about 141,290 accident-free miles.”

Update as of November 4, 2019This is the rare “Shorty” 34 ft version of the U270. It has all the features of the larger motor homes but is more maneuverable and lighter so it gets gets better gas mileage (up to 10MPG). It fits into many state and national parks where the large rigs can’t.
With winter coming comes the need for winterization. OR NOT. With the advanced Foretravel insulation design, dual-pane windows and heaters in the basement compartments, winterization is unnecessary; true four-season camper. We camp with this rig all winter while enjoying hot water showers.
Update as of October 31, 2019: Passed PA State Inspection with the following checks: Wipers, Mirrors, Horn, Windows, Seatbelt, Windshield, Headlights, taillights, turn signal, and all other exterior lights, Engine Mounts, Engine Lights, Exhaust, Tires, Brakes, Brake lines, Steering and Suspension, Struts and Shocks, Axles, Car Body, Frame.

WHAT DOES NOT WORK, or needs awarenessAuxiliary air pump fuse pulled. Pump motor works but does not pressurize. never needed it since the main air system and HWH system holds pressure for weeks. Engine air conditioner pulley disconnected because it did not work. Prior owner charged the Freon, but it probably has slow Freon leak. It can be fix with the help of an AC expert. Some decals were removed and/or faded. Cabinetry, headliner and carpet cleanup. There are minor stains and dirt marks on the headliner from sweating and minor leaks that were quickly sealed. There is no rot on the ceiling structure or roof. This was confirmed when ACs were replaced. Basement rolocs fasteners were tested in 2016. Most were OK, some were rusty, so several holes were drilled and ACF-50, an expensive aircraft anti-corrosion treatment, was sprayed into roloc holes. There is some surface corrosion on the chassis, but no rot can be seen anywhere on this rig. am the 2nd owner. It spent 19 years in semi-arid climate: Escondido, CA. am the 2nd owner. Hydraulic cooling system fan weeps oil negligible amount due to minute gap in the rubber seal. This is common nuisance on Foretravel and other brands using hydraulic fans. Ladder has crease from the previous owner. Does not affect function or strength. Some minor scratches and small scrapes. Some minor cosmetic fiberglass repair needed on the rear air intake scoop. Gray tank sensor may not work or needs cleaning. Propane stove electric igniter works on three of four burners. The other burner can be lit with lighter. The piezoelectric igniter probably needs to be replaced. Eight air bags are in good condition. High setting on kitchen fan works but low setting does not.
OTHER COMMENTSThere are no leaks on my driveway. Air system operates normally. Engine starts and runs normally. Used OptiLube XPD lubricity  enhancer and StarTron algaecide for the last 16,000 miles. Electric engine pre-heater works normally. Glow plugs operate normally.Tires are bout five years old. They hold pressure and have plenty of tread. Tires are normally covered. ran the motor and generator once month religiously. Carpet is original, but it was of the highest quality and cleans up well. No pets or children were in the rig for it's first 19 years. Some of the original window treatments have been replaced with curtains made by my wife. Zip-Dee awnings are functional but is original. When Suncoast Designers overhauled the windows, some of the windows took too much force to slide. The window above the kitchen table slides very well because removed the plastic track. After removing the track, poured water over the window to check for leaks. No leaks were observed because there is drain hole which lets the water out.
The new owner will need to be tech-savvy and willing to learn because the lithium battery chargers, although automatic, will need human to manage them. For example, normally keep the SOC (State of Charge) between 30 and 80%. The only way to accurately determine SOC is under minimal load. Both the 12 and 48 lithium batteries have SOC displays.
When boondocking, there are ways to save power by operating with the inverter off. An understanding of the 12 and 48 volt lithium system as well as solar and generator systems helps to keep you camping, even in the darkest, windiest, coldest nights. Ask me how know this.
