Up for your consideration is great Ford Tow Truck.  This is 1996 F-SuperDuty, (which later became the F-450) with non-turbo 7.3L International Diesel Engine.  This engine is nearly indestructible, starts right up and runs great, it has enough torc to do just about anything, it just doesn't do it very fast =)  It is fully equipped with Jerr-dan Aluminum Bed and Ramsey Winch, and rear stinger.  Truck runs great but age has left few imperfections, slow and small leaks from power steering fluid and hydraulic fluid and rear gas tank, these problems are all minor and simply add fluid every couple months and its been working fine.  The large problem is there is an exhaust leak at the headers and that could be time consuming repair, again does not affect its ability to do its job and have just lived with it.  
Here is the good, NEW rear rotors and pads, NEW heavy duty truck tires all around, recently replaced seat bench from much newer truck, makes for very comfortable ride, B&H shifter for easy shifting.  Fresh PA inspection, good until 12/17.  This is fantastic truck for around town, its easy to maneuver into tight spaces, just cab and the bed so you can see everything easy and it's low top speed doesn't matter much around town.  Taking it on 100 mile trip does make for long day, but its reliable and it will get you home no problem.  The engine will last forever.  Truck also includes Code3 Lightbar with rear bed lights and rotators.
