Autosleeper Legend GL 1991 MK3 model fitted with the MK5 1995 "banana" 2.5D engine. (bodywork similar to an AS Talisman GL)Very torquey, no pre-heat required so starts quickly and runs with noexcessive smoke. 
It also has the MK5 dashboard, instruments and heater fitted which isnice.The mileage is accurate for the engine as the dashboard came from the donor van, the bodywork has done approx 20kLESS mileage.

I purchased this as my hobby project vehicle and as such it has undergoneextensive work in June/July:Mechanical: New rear Wheel bearings Rear Brake wheel cylinders and fitting kit New Parking brake cable Rear brake fluid flushed. Gearbox Oil Change (Drain and refill) Rear Axle Oil change (Drain and refill) Steering linkage Universal joint (not fitted yet but will be by Thursday this week) Additional Sound-proofing for under-bonnet (on order so will be supplied free with the van if you want it).  Interior:  All new LED interior lights throughout (very bright and low power, really nice) The Interior has been vaxed (deep washed) twice and is VERY clean/Fresh.  New MINI HEKI roof light fitted over the cab (this really brightens it up) Window side runners both replaced.  New wheel trims :-) FIRE Extinguisher FIRE Blanket Better CD Radio Cassette (different to the silver one shown in the pictures)
Selling Due to time constraints (I work two jobs) and thefamily's desire to go to hotels instead of camping, am regrettably selling this pre-holidayseason.
No silly offers please, if it doesn't sell will take it to Northumberland/Scotland in August and then keep it to tinkerwith as it is gorgeous and great fun to drive.Engine Note: The van was originally build as 2.0 Petrol and is stillregistered as such.  It was converted to the Mk5 2.5 Diesel approx yearsago and the previous owners have not re-registered it as Diesel. You should INSURE it as Diesel because this is what it is, but it is entirely up to you if you change the log book. was not going to as it stands imagineyou could drive it in low emission zones (LEZ) without issue :-)
PLEASE view the van before bidding if you can....  The van is 25 years old so will of course haveissues commensurate with its age, particularly rust on at least one of thesills,   but repair panels are readily available VERY cheap via ebay and the welding is NOTstructural otherwise it would not have passed its MOT in April.This is gorgeous example of Autosleeper's finest, on the powerfultransit base and should give many more years of holiday fun.PLEASE ONLY BID/BUY IF YOU ARE SERIOUS
