We have concrete garage that Rupert lives in when not out on his travels so he’s kept in dry storage which we had built especially for him.
We bought him for £11,500 and have spent further £12,000 on doing his restorations;When we bought him we were given folder with old invoices and photos of the work done up until then and we have created our own folder with the restoration that we have done so he comes with folders of history and photos (our folder was so that we could keep check of what we were spending to save any mix ups)
So what did we do to him;-Soundproofing throughout-NEW Cab floor, Wheel arch, lower front, dashboard, engine lid, chassis strengther, roof repair, rear arch panels, exhaust, mirrors, handles, locks inc genuine VW keys.-The new cab floor has been stone chipped and sealed-Complete rewire throughout-Electric ignition-Electric motorised washer jets-Motorised sink gas stove (the sink/gas stove is unused) -12 volt sockets throughout and 240v-Electric hook up-Classic look DAB radio with speakers including USB, Bluetooth and hands free-Brand new custom fit kitchen and storage Interior with hidden space for electric cooler-Hidden storage space for valuables -New upholstery including headliner and Rock Roll bed-New custom made blackout curtains with magnets to keep light out-Custom made buddy seat to hide and store portable chemical toilet (no need to walk to the toilet blocks in the cold)-X1 custom made bunk bed above units in the pop top for small child -New powder coated wheels x4-90% Respray using original VW colours
We have photos of the work being completed 
Rupert also has had quite few upgrades including an upgraded alternator, fan belt and engine gaskets.
Just had new engine in it (07/08/2019) So comes with 2yr warranty.
We had big service recently and MOT since we’ve had him 
He’s tax exempt and our insurance has given us an agreed valuation
