T5 windowed Transporter day van .
I bought this van this year to use as family camper and back up to my split screen samba, as am vw specialist and the van was going to be keeper spent hours preparing and bringing it up to very high standard. This included and most importantly changing the worn camshaft, hydraulic tappets, water pump, cam belt, gaskets, seals, oils, and fluids. In fact the whole head was stripped checked and rebuilt to ensure many more years of trouble free miles.( if you know these engines they suffer from cam and tapper wear around the 100K mark, common problem and costly to put right)At the same time the engine was re mapped to give more power and better fuel economy.(140bhp ish)This van drives like new car smoothe and fast with great fuel economy.The van was already well cared for with one previous owner and lots of service history and paperwork to show.The only reason that am selling it now is that it is few months too old to put my personalised registration plate on .Details of the van .........
